Hi Paige, after scrolling through the forums I found your link and thought I would provide you with some feedback. Firstly, with your website you have created a professional and inviting site. The information presented is easy to find and looks amazing (I feel embarrassed about mine and will make some changes now). There are a few resources that are links to other resources, I don’t know for sure if this is ok. I’m guessing you will find out eventually.
Resource One.
The blog page you have shared and described would be an excellent resources any Drama teacher. I also like the fact that you realise that this would also make an excellent resource for students, and it is suitable to be shared and used by them. Warm up activities are extremely important in a drama classroom, and as your second area of teaching is Health and Physical education, how do you think these could be used within your lessons? You have recognised the use of ICTs and how they can be used and how appropriate they are. Thank you for sharing this website as I think the warm up activities would be useful in any classroom.
Resource Two
A good website as it uses all areas of the arts and who and how they can be used in the classroom. It is excellent how you have recognised how English as and Additional Language or Dialect (EALD). As Drama is a class for active participants this would have a significant impact in your classroom. It might be a good idea here to say how you would use a particular resource in your classroom and give a specific example.
Resource Three
Well done in finding this site. This is the first site when looking at other people’s resources that only focuses on improving teacher performance, especially in the arts. You have looked at the arts and recognised how it works on improving teacher performance and why. I would probably say it again, how would you use this in your classroom? Can you give a specific example of how it would be used?
Resource Four
This page contains much information. I agree with you that there is a lot of information, and would be suitable for secondary students. When looking at the site I found it hard to find information and was wondering how well students in years 8-10 would go navigating it in your classroom. I think the set out of the Drama page should be divided into sections as scrolling down to find specific information would be very difficult. You mentioned that this resource would suit students with diverse learning styles and needs, how would this site help you work with students in your classroom that struggle?
Resource Five
As with all of your resources you have found ways for providing students with ways of improving their individual or group performance. This is another site that provides links to external sites. If you were using this resource in your lessons would you use this site as a starting point for students, or would you just take your students to the desired resource?
Paige, you have found excellent sites that would provide students with ways of improving their knowledge and understanding in the area of drama. You have a positive outlook and a great looking website. I hope some of this information helps and well done so far with your assessment.

Hi Lucy I thought I would provide you with some feedback on your five resources.
Resource One.
This site offers you additional links so you can discover further information. There is a number of teaching ideas and resources for you to use within your classroom. You have pointed out that the site does not directly relate to any curriculum information and that you as the teacher would have to make sure this was done before using it in our classroom. You could mention how you would use the site in your classroom, and how it could best be used for varying learning abilities and levels.
Resource Two
It is good to see you directly relate to the Australian Curriculum. As it is directly from a curriculum document it would meet most teaching standards and cater for diversity, ICTs, and prioritise the learning for all in the classroom. You mention that it provides a range of resources, as I would consider the site to a resource of its own. Maybe here you could mention a specific example of how you have used it previously.
Resource Three
I actually used this resource myself as one of my five. I agree how this PowerPoint links together Music and Visual Arts and allows students to express what they hear into no-traditional written notation. You have shown how the resource is appropriate and is inclusive for students within your classroom and provided a specific age group for use. You might like to mention further about how you would adapt and use this resource specifically for a year 8 class.
Resource Four
This is an interesting resource to choose, as it provides links to music directly for teacher s and students. I would not recommend using the site specifically with students as there are so many samples and musical examples there that I don’t know if all schools would consider them appropriate for use. I only mention this as the last school I was on Professional Experience at would not allow me to use samples with certain titles mentioned on the site. As a Music teacher, it can be amazing, but there are so many examples that some may not be appropriate for all school contexts. How would use this in a classroom if you think there are some not so appropriate examples?
Resource Five
This resource provides teachers with a range of places for students to find information or resources. You said that this resource is safe for all users, so would you use this site with your students? From looking at other forum posts, is this site a resource or a link to find other sites? I am not sure but it does provide the user with detailed and thorough information.
Well done Lucy on creating a great set of resources. You how shown how and why they are appropriate for use in the classroom. How could you further add more information to this by stating how would you further use these in your specific classroom? You have a good understanding of how you can find appropriate resources and what benefit they will have on your learners.
Peter.
